Apple confirms it’s working on a traffic service, what about google maps ?

It was not the focus of the “Q & A Location Data” this morning, but Apple is a bit of news when it comes to their privacy concerns as it tries to facilitate processes information. The company says that “now gathers anonymous traffic data to a traffic light from here to build, “and that it hopes will provide iPhone users “to improve the transport service in the coming years.” It does not reveal much more, unfortunately, but little detail is consistent with some other navigation-related developments from the company too late. It was from the company Web Mapping Poly9 last July (in addition to Google Maps Place Base competing in late 2009) and, just last month a few vacancies that for people who “improve dramatically ” as the IOS Maps experience acquired. Add everything together and it’s getting a lot of how the transition to Google Maps for all Apple solution – as mentioned, how a company Skyhook until it was your own WiFi geolocation service to roll.
